CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"...whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything." James 1:2-4
Our friend James here encourages us to turn our hardships into times of learning. Tough times can teach us perseverance. And you know what is so amazing? God promises to BE WITH YOU during these rough times. Incredible huh? Continue to ask him to help you through this tough time and to give you the strength to endure them. Be patient, because God will not leave you alone; He promises to stay close and help you grow. (My cousin gave me this quote once "Tough Times make for Tough People", I really liked that quote!)
