CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for Ryan Herrin. Thank you that his brother Tyler cares about him so much to come here and ask for prayer. Please speak to Ryan by your Holy Spirit. Show to him who Jesus really is and what He did and why He had to do it. Lord Jesus show to Ryan that you are a friend for all, in that You willingly died for everybody so that anybody who believes could be set free. Please Lord use the people in Ryan's life, including Tyler, to be a good example in word and actions of who you are and give them .... we know You will give them....words of wisdom to share at just the right moment, let those moments come when Ryan's heart and mind is open and may Tyler be ready to speak the right words, when it comes. In Jesus' name amen.

Heavenly Father, i pray that you would soften Ryan's heart, that he may be open to hearing your word, and learning about the love that you have for him. Lord, i pray that you would work in his life, that he would come to know you as a personal friend and saviour, that he too may experience the wonderful joy that we get with being in your presence. Lord, i pray that you would give Tyler the wisdom that he needs to go about talking to his brother about you, that he may plant a seed within Ryan's heart that will allow him to grow in your Spirit. In Jesus' name, amen

Father, help Ryan to feel empty and unfulfilled without your presence in his life. Draw him by your Holy Spirit to the truth of salvation. Set him free from the sins that hold him captive and give him a new life walking in your presence.
Give he and his sister a wonderful walk of sharing together. Amen
