What does it mean to pray without ceasing?
Is it just passionately repeating the same request over and over again?
OR
Does it mean to literally pray 100% of the time without ceasing?
Impossible?
Not if we redefine what it means to pray.
If everything is spiritual
If we are to remember God in all things
If we are to praise God at all times
If we are to be thankful at all times
If we are to seperate ourselves from the world (holy means separate)
If we are to seek the Holy Spirit with 100% of our being
What is prayer?
Why is putting our hands together considered Holy?
Why do we need to ask aloud when God already knows our hearts?
Why do we only feel close to God when we do these things?
Is Prayer the same as Meditation?
Does prayer require stillness?
Does prayer require ritual?
Can meditation be active?
What is praying in secret and being rewarded openly?
Is it hiding the fact that we pray from other people?
Is it going into our closets and shutting the door?
Is it not letting our left hand know what our right hand is doing?
So what does it mean to pray without ceasing?
Is it to repeat our request and priase until we get what you want?
Is it to cry out to God with a deep emotional state?
If our understanding is inverted then should we cease without praying?

Cease being evil, cease being sinful, cease being too busy for God
Cease being self righteous, cease being a know-it-all
Cease living in the flesh
Cease without
Cease being without God, cease being without love, cease being without truth
Cease being without obedience, cease being without faith
Cease being without thanks, regardless of circumstance
Cease without praying
and begin within praying
and pray within beginning
and within praying begin
Pray without ceasing
Never stop praying, Never stop praising, and you will Never stop.
Enter into that prayer state with God and never leave.
When life becomes a neverending prayer, only God can say Amen.
God is always with me
My spirit is always praising him
My spirit is always praying to him
My mind is always focused on him
My heart is always thanking him
Even when I must concentrate on something, he is with me
The love that is between God and I is always growing
The life that is obedient to God is always knowing
God is within everything, but not everything is within God
All actions either glorify or insult God
The spoken word overflows from the heart with powerful incantations
This is what prayer without ceasing means to me. This doesn't mean I don't pray normally too. This is not easy to get used to, knowing that God is always with you, and going about in a constant inner state of prayer and praise, and thankfulness, while also trying to deal with day to day living.
