MY BOYFRIEND...GLYNN...IS 27. HE WAS SAVED AT A YOUNG AGE AND RAISED IN CHURCH AND A CHRISTIAN HOME. HE AND I HAVE 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. I TAKE HER TO CHURCH BUT HE DOES NOT GO WITH US. I HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR HIS COMMITTMENT TO CHRIST AND ME AND OUR DAUGHTER...FOR DELIVERANCE FROM CORRUPT COMPANIONS AND ALCOHOL..SEVERAL OF YOU HAVE JOINED WITH ME IN THESE PRAYERS AND I AM SO THANKFUL.. THE OTHER NIGHT HE SAID THAT HE HAD SOME GROWING UP TO DO AND SOME CHOICES TO MAKE...THAT WAS ALL HE SAID BUT FROM THOSE WORDS I JUST KNEW THAT THOSE PRAYERS ARE BEING ANSWERED...NOT THAT I HAD ANY DOUBTS BUT ANY ENCOURAGEMENT IS A BLESSING...PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY THAT GOD WILL MOVE IN HIS LIFE AND BE GLORIFIED AND HE WILL MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES.....WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Have patience. May God's Spirit guide your words and actions with your boyfriend. May his heart be open that the Spirit will guide him and show him truth. Be prayerful, and keep the faith. Gods will be done, so don't forget about yourself, your needs, and the needs of your daughter. He has a unique and individual plan for YOU, too
