Two teenage christian sisters have run away from home in order to escape their Mothers homosexual lifestyle. Let's say a prayer for them and their Mom.

Ok I will try and type out what I'm thinking and everything so it will make sense.
I used to think that it was ok if you were gay/lesbian, I just thought it was a lifestyle. Now my feelings are different because I started to become a stronger Christian, my husbands Aunt is gay, and he (my husband) doesnt really seem anything wrong with it, because it doesnt really specify same sex partners in the Bible as homosexuality.
So when I try and tell him that all gays and lesbians, are doing wrong, and that they are not going to Heaven he always comes back with where in the Bible does it say exactly?..
And I'm starting to agree with him, because I cannot find where in the bible that it actually states that being gay is wrong.
Maybe some one has a scripture I havent read yet.
I hope this made sense, it kinda seems like I'm going round and round with my thoughts and trying to type them out, so Im sorry

Here's one scripture for you,
Leviticus 18:22 Do not lie with a man as you would a woman; that is detestable.

will see what other scriptures I can find, I know there's more than just this one.

I think what's sad about the homosexuals wanting children so bad is that they are thinking more about themselves than the children, they want the children so bad that they don't consider much what it's going to be like for the child growing up in that enviroment.

If homosexuality is just a thought that turned into an action, how or why are there so many of them?
I could see if there wasnt so many, but all of these people are just acting on a sin? i just find that hard to believe but I believe in the scripture..Now does that make sense?

Not sure why there are so many of them, other than the fact that the Bible says the world we become like sodom and gomorah in the last days.

Here's scripture about how our thoughts turn to sin.

James 1:13-15

When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

In the same note I have to say that homosexuals are no different than anyone else when it comes to sin, they can be forgiven just like everyone else is. I do have a feeling though that if they seek forgivness they can't continue practicing in that sin. just the same as we can't continue in our own sins.

They are acting on unnatural lust. The bible clearly describes sexual immorality as an abomination. There are so many gay people because they are taught by society it is genetic and a choice. People act on these feelings because it has been becoming increasingly popular to believe it is natural, when in fact it is not!

I think we can find an answer to this in Romans

Romans 1:20-27 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.
