  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Pray for Stacie.

Stacie is back in the hospital for the third or fourth time since winter began.

Only (from what I have been told, which I pray is wrong) they don't expect her to come out this time. :(

I pray that this isn't the case as I don't believe she has yet surrendered her life to the Lord. Only her and the Lord can truly know that...but...I am truly concerned that this could be her last chance.

Father, please help Stacie in her time of need. Please touch her heart so that she might understand how much she needs you. Comfort her while she is in the hospital that she might know there is peace in you, Lord. Save her, Lord...I want to see her in heaven, and I know you do too. Father, I pray these things in Jesus' precious and Holy name. Amen.

It is funny how you can be completely changed by God. I greatly disliked Stacie when she came to work for us. I prayed for her anyway. She got better. I still disliked her and then even more because she got better.
Now she has gotten worse and my heart absolutely breaks for her. I just want to hug her every time I see her. God is amazing. Get better Stace.

I am going to post an update in this forum because the forum I was updating has disappeared in the crash...such is life.

Stacie is back at work. Her last doctor visit apparently wasn't a good one. They have switched some meds around and are trying different combos...I asked her what her next course of action was and that is it. Just staying alive.
I talked to her about why transplant wouldn't work...I guess there are a couple reasons, one being she wouldn't make it out of the surgery...

God can heal her if He wants to, and if that is His Will, Amen. That is not the direction my prayers are in... Her salvation is most important. I can't stress that enough. I pray too that she isn't completely miserable for the time she is here whether it be a month, a year, or 100 years...It drives me nuts that I can't do anything about it. (It's a control freak thing.)
I will continue to try to keep you updated if anything else changes.

Also, keep me in prayer that my witness will make a difference.

Mixee, but you are doing something. You are praying and you are asking others to pray for Stacie as well. Who knows, you may be the only one in her life who is. And that will surely make a difference. We all know how powerful prayer can be and is.

Praying for Stacie and for you as your life stands as a witness for her.

It has been well over a year now and Stacie is now receiving a shot (new drug just approved) for her asthma, and she is doing GREAT, health wise that is.

BUT

She still needs the Lord in her life. Please pray that she is able to work through the issues that she is working through and that there might be an open door provided (she has a difficult time talking about the things of God.).

We are working in the same office tomorrow which will probably never happen again so thanks for all your prayers!!! God is AWESOME!
