The Victor owns the very untruthful Truth Social. His stock went up a billion dollars after the election. Six months from now people will praise him for donating his salary to charity--after charging the Secret Service millions to use his overpriced hotels.
Then you have Musk, who owns X. Twitter was a cesspool, and X is a cesspool that caves in on your front lawn.
Do any of you remember Radio Free Europe, started to tell the truth to communist bloc countries with no free media?
I hope that we will never have to be the recipients of truth clandestinely-- but hey, you and others placed your trust in a felon, so who knows?

The "Free Press" was not free when the blocked people that they didn't want the world to hear. Now, anyone can say what they want. That's the "free" part.
When a few select non elected people get to control what is said and heard.... that is "control of the free press". That is what was done to DJT.. not by him.

WAPO and NYT have conservatives on their opinion pages.
MSNBC and CNN have hosts who served under GW Bush and chaired the RNC. To be fair, they were not Trump supporters, but I think it's because they wanted all their hosts to be real journalists grounded in reality and truth, and they couldn't find any Trump supporters, but they have a number of real Republicans.

It looks like Donald Trump has won the election.
I'm rejoicing over his victory against Kamala Harris.
But, I believe we need to pray for him and that God gives him wisdom, helps him follow the right path, and get this country into shape spiritually, politically, and financially.
Also, Donald Trump has been under political and legal fire multiple times, including felony charges, lawsuits, and 2 attempts to impeach him from office. I pray nothing like those ever happen again.

Definitely. Even though I did vote for Harris, my first act upon turning off the TV on election night was to pray that God would give Trump and his administration the wisdom of Solomon to handle the challenges ahead. I will continue to do so for the next four years.

We should absolutely keep our new president in prayer. But also his children and family members who have been under constant attack for five years.

Hopefully the house majority will be Republican also avoiding endless accusations and investigations like last time the American public is tired of all the drama and unnecessary hatred towards one man.

Looking forward to a proactive government instead of a reactive one

The GOP held the House through all the Biden administration. If they can knock it off with the infighting that marked the last four years along with the "Pin the Tail on the Speaker" games, they might accomplish something.

Project 2025 is not the place you need to look for what to expect. P2025 is the Heritage Foundation's Christmas list. They put some version of this out every election cycle and have done so since Reagan was in office.
