  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My Dad, Don, was recently diagnosed with Pneumonia and was being treated with antibiotics. He was then told that it wasn’t Pneumonia, but that they found a lump in his lung, but that they were pretty sure that it was not Cancerous. However, they wanted to do a biopsy just in case. On Monday, before they did the surgery, they ran some tests and took some more x-rays. It was then discovered that it was a Pulmonary Embolism. They admitted him to the hospital right away for treatment and things are looking up. It was a very close call (a miracle if you will), because if the Embolism had burst on the way home he would have died.

I would like to ask each of you to remember him in your prayers for a speedy recovery and also to thank God for helping this great man stay with us for a while longer.

TIA
