Pray for me

Hi all,

I'd like everyone to pray I get a book published soon and that I go on to be a very successful writer. Being a writer is a life-long dream I work hard at and study for. Now I am housebound it's even more important to me because it's the only career I can pursue.

I know everyone is thinking, "then pray for a cure", but I believe God wants me this way for a reason - I just want to be successful & one day financially independent while I'm here! Since I've been ill I see even more need to find success so I'm not seen by myself or others as doing 'nothing'. Not making my mark on the world scares me.

Dear Lord, please watch over us with your love and provision. Help us to be content and at peace with all that you give us in this life. As we look forward to being with you, help us to build up treasure in heaven and seek after your kingdom above all things. Lord, I trust that you see and care for us in all things.
