Pray for me to call upon the name of the Lord

I have a deep fear of hell and I'm starting to lie to myself in believing I'm calling upon His name earnestly. I fear my heart is starting to accept the lie and my chance to be saved is rapidly reducing. Pray that the deceit be pulled out and that I would cry out to be saved from my sins.

...but it is Jesus who saves, not how you feel. I believe you need to start thanking God for saving you, even if you don't feel like it. Thank God for everything, the sun, the rain, the trees, creation, life...the list is endless.
Then bless him for being such a good God and for his love for you.

Friend, you accept Jesus as Savior and commit to live for God and stay in the faith, that is all any of us can do, the rest is up to God. Look at all the evil people in our country who have lived to be quite old, God could send them to Hell in a heartbeat if He wanted. Biden, Pelosi, Harris, the list goes on and on, God is merciful and would forgive even these people if they truly repented. What I am trying to say, is that God has no pleasure in casting people into hell, He wants to save you.

Many thanks everyone, after listening to Pastor Tim's two part series on how to be saved (

), I think I finally understand what I need to do, but still I have fears. Example, I want to be free from my sins and will do whatever it takes, even parting ways with sins I previously loved, and I want to be saved from hell, but I don't feel a massive love for Jesus (other than the fact that He is my Savior and He freely welcomes me), or at least I don't feel a massive desire for Him compared to the other two desires. Will He still take hold of me, and free me from sin and hell, and fix my heart so that it loves Him, or do I have to pray that He would be first in my heart first? Because I'm pretty I can't fix my eyes on Him only by myself.

You are that special plant in God's garden, and God is the gardener and He never fails. Don't get discouraged.
