I think you ought to go for it. You test the calling by taking the first steps. If God has put this into your mind - and I believe He probably has - then pray and step out in faith. He will guide and let you know when to stop and where to turn.
May God guide and lead you and bless you through the prayers of the Birth-Giver of God and all the saints and angels.

Whatever it is that you are lifting in prayer, I see that you are asking the intercessions of St. Michael the Archangel. Tomorrow (8 Nov.) is the Feast of the Holy Archangels, so I shall ask St. Michael to intercede on your behalf for that which will benefit your soul.
