Pray for Me, Please!!!

Hi everyone,

At my school we are doing a play and i went to be in it. But my mom read it with me and the play has some BAD WORDS, DRINKING, and SMOKING. She is making a big deal about it and now after we have been talking I do not went to do it but she says i can if i went to. It is just a play but i have told the people around me please do not do that stuff and if i am in it will they change there mind thinking i want that or will they care. Please pray for me to make the right chose and i would like a few openions on what you guys have to say.

I’ll spend some time praying for you tonight. You know your mom is just doing what she thinks is best for you. Just in my experience in teaching and watching over children, I know that I really need them to do what I ask. I have been wrong many times. But the Lord has always let me know. But as someone in charge of a family and in leadership, I need people to do what I tell them to, not only for their peace of mind, but for mine too. I would just suggest doing what you can on the topic of obeying your mom. In my opinion, that’s your part. The Lord will do His in talking to your mother. And know that she may just be waiting for you to be in that respectful spirit to ease her fears. Her fears about her daughter even slighting hinting toward going down the same road she may have traveled. We have our reasons as parents, and sometimes we may not be able to explain. But I promise you, that if you do what your mother says, and respect her to the best of your ability, trying to make her life stay on the easier side rather than the harder… unlike many, many children… You will be Bless, and the Lord will make sure that you will gain that trust you want so you can finally begin to live your own life in victory, because you did well with little… so you will have much.



Just a dad’s words and advice and blah blah blah…



Lord, please keep this young woman in Your Arms. Let no harm come to her. Let her learn lessons by ways of Love and not those of pain. Let her do what is necessary to gain that trust she wants with her mom, and that Trust that we all want with You. Thank you Dad. Amen.

You sound like a normal young person with a tough decision to make. The bible says we should be an example to the rest of the world so I believe you should not be in the play because it means that you will have to compromise what you believe is right. I think that by participating in the play you will be endorsing it. I pray more people, young and old would encourage their schools to be more responsible when choosing plays and other activities. Thank you so much for the words. I showed them to my mom and i talked to God and i think i will not do it. The reason is so i can stay strong in the LORD and not fall into the wrong hands. Because i know that i am a "Temple of God".

AS I GREW UP AND WAS ON MY OWN I STARTED A COUNTRY BAND.

I think youv'e made the exact choice you should have made, well done, you might still only be young but to walk properly with the Lord, sometimes we have to say No to the things of the world that are unclean. I am a mum myself with three teenagers, and like your Mum would have responded exactly the same. We as mums want to try and teach you Gods way not the wordly way, so I'm glad you've made this decision and may the Lord really bless you for it.

Lord help Dice and her mother to know what needs to be done even though it is a play. It goes against you and that you want to intervene and help this mother and daughter to know what needs to be done. In your name and will, give them the will and words in you Jesus. Amen.

But i am going to use my other talent which doing the things behind the stage like: painting sences for the set, makeup, and other fun things they do in the background.
