Two years ago, Jeff was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease, a form of cancer. He went through a course of very strong chemo and went into remission.
He graduated from med school, got married, started a pedatric residency and is now the father of a three-month old baby boy.
Two weeks ago, Jeff underwent a biopsy on a lump found on one of his lymph nodes. It confirmed the cancer had returned.
Jeff will be undergoing three courses of powerful chemo over the next three months and a stem cell transplant (they will be harvesting his own stem cells before he starts chemo).
Jeff is 27 years old.
