Hi everyone. Please pray for my wife Betsy. She has been sufferring from bipolar depression with most severe depression the past two years. She has been suicidal with ten suicide attempts and 12 hospitalizations in the past 12 months. Mostly she stays in bed at least 20 hours eveyday, though many hours she is just lying there awake. She is on many medications, which have been changed everytime she has been hospitalized. Current meds are: Risperidal, Seraquel,Maprotaline, and Clonipine. She has been hearing voices so the medications are increased to hopefully help minimize the voices. She is out of the hospital 4 days now, but wants to go to a Long-term Psyc hospital because she is afraid that the voices will make her do something bad to me or others. We are both Christians and love the Lord Jesus Christ, that makes this very hard to deal with. I am exhausted, lonely, and starving for God's presence.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
