I read an interesting story in the Bible. When Jehoshaphat was the king of Judah, a 3-nation army invaded. He got afraid. God sent a prophet to the king and said He would fight the war.
The king appointed men who would sing to God and praise Him. They marched out in the morning before the soldiers.
Give thanks to the Lord,
for his steadfast love endures forever!
As they began to sing and praise,
the Lord set an ambush against (the 3-nation army) and they were routed. (2 Chronicles)
God made the 3-nation army fight among themselves. The soldiers of Judah picked up war booties for 3 days.
I thought I should share the story. Let us praise God and give thanks to Jesus, especially when the urge to cut is coming around the corner. God will do the fighting for us.
