praise... the perfect response!

God has been telling me this for a long time, that no matter what... the perfect most appropriate response unto God is true praise. too praise him.

because we all ask for things, and we all want things, and we pray for forgiveness, and we all say "Lord i love you".
but how many of us really live a life that thats full of praise? how many of us get alone with God and just praise him very often?
becuase thats something that is easy to forget about, becuase its easy to take our eyes and put them all on us.
but we need to praise God, somebody needs to open up their mouth and just praise God.
how long has it been? since you really opened up, and really praised him out of your heart and danced before him and shouted and cried out of your praise!
thats the perfect offering, the perfect response. is true praise.
and its so powerful.

psalm 22.1-3
MY God, my God why have you forsaken me? why art though so far from helping me and from the words of my roaring? OH my God, i cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
BUT THOU ART HOLY, O THOU THAT INHABITEST THE PRAISES OF ISREAL.

MY GOD THAT IS GOOD!
EVEN WHEN IT LOOKS LIKE GOD HAS LEFT YOU! AND YOU DONT KNOW WHERE HE WENT, EVEN WHEN LIFE HAS OVERWELMED YOU! ....GET UP, STAND UP STRAIGHT AND TAKE JOY! AND SAY GOD YOUR STILL HOLY! YOUR STILL TRUE! AND I STILL LOVE YOU! AND WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING AND THY TESTIMONIES ARE TRUE AND I WILL BELIEVE IN YOU! AND I WILL PRAISE YOU BECUASE YOU INHABIT THE PRAISE OF YOUR PEOPLE.... NOT NECCESARILY THE PETITIONS... BUT THE PRAISE OF ISREAL! AND BECUASE YOUR JUST WORTHY! YOUR WORTHY OF PRAISE!

WE HAVE TO GET THIS!
LITTLE PRAISE MEANS LITTLE BLESSING! LITTLE PRAISE MEANS LITTLE POWER! LITTLE PRAISE MEANS LITTLE ANSWERED PRAYER!

when david felt like God had left him and his prayers seemed to go unheard... he knew to praise God! becuase the praise goes up, and the glory comes down!

the perfect response is praise and worship.
when things are good, ill praise him, when things are bad, ill praise him.
when im making a hundred grand ill praise him! when i dont have a job ill praise him!
man we need to go on a praise revival, a time to get back to furvent praise!
little praise... means little blessing.

I just remembered this...
God showed me there are two kinds of praise.

1. a responding praise.
and
2. a praise from responsibility.

1. a responding praise.
this is where you praise God not just becuase hes worthy though he is, or becuase your responsible to, though you are, but becuase hes blessed you, and becuase of what hes done, out of your thankfullness unto God, you RESPOND in praise!
this why ol jonah cried out in the belly of hell and said THE THANKSGIVING IS A SWEET SACRIFICE UNTO GOD! to say LORD THANKYOU! LORD I BLESS YOU! BECUASE YOU SAVED ME! BECUASE OF ALL YOUVE DONE! THANKYOU JESUS!
BECAUSE YOU SAVED ME FROM COCAIN! BECUASE YOU SAVED ME FROM DYING! BECUASE MY KIDS DONT HAVE DRUG DEALER FRIENDS! BECUASE IM NOT IN POVERTY! THANKYOU JESUS FOR YOUR MANY BLESSINGS! LET ME COUNT THEM ONE BY ONE! LORD THANKYOU! LORD BECAUSE I CAN LOOK BACK AND REMEMBER WHERE I CAME FROM AND WHERE I WAS HEADED IF IT HADNT BEEN FOR YOU! GLORY! THANKYOU! GOD ILL RUN THE ILE AND ILL SHOUT AND SING AND DANCE! BECUASE YOUR ARE SO GOOD TO ME AND I CANT HELP BUT PRAISE YOU! LORD ILL HAVE A FIT FOR YOU RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW, EVEN IT MAKES ME LOOK STUPID! BECUASE YOU HAVE DONE SO MUCH AND IM GONNA GO CRASY IF I KEEP ALL THIS INSIDE!

2. a praise from responsibility.
this is where david said in psalms 5.7 "...in thy fear i will worship..." NOT JUST BECUASE YOU BLESSED ME! NOT BECUASE OF ALL YOUVE DONE! but even if you didnt do this for me, your still worthy of praise, your still the holy one, your still the Lord and master of my life and i reverance you becuase of who you are, i worship becuase of who you are, not becuase of all youve done... but becuase of who you are, becuase your worthy, your a God that made me for praise and i will worship you and give you glory... becuase it is my reasonable service. OH LORD I CRY THESE TEARS OF WORSHIP... EVEN WHEN IM GOING THROUGH SOMETHING... BECUASE IT IS MY REASONABLE SERVICE! and even there are no tears ill be like a soldier standing erect and lifting up his hands, praising God not because he feels emotional, but becuase its his sworn duty and responsibility.

there is a time and place for both, and we are not complete without both.
