someone donated to Teen Challenge a huge piece of land, with a great facility! it use to be a nursing home, has 6 wings, and each wing can hold up to 100 ladies plus!!!!!! 
we had a meeting today, and we were told that in as short as 2-3 months, we will be moving here!!!!!! our facility here holds a little over 30 women, now we will be able to accept in a lot more!!!!! Plus, instead of 8 ladies per room, it will be two per room with their own bathroom, an industrial laundry center (with 3 washers and dryers here, laundry has been an issue), and is so big, 2 other ministries will have a wing, but the building will all be under the name of Teen Challenge! we are soooooo excited... then we went to church, and this man came to me, and told me that I had an amazing voice, and he told our director he wants to record us singing!!!!!!!! I've been the music director for about 5 months now, and there are a few amazing voices, some just learning, and others who don't know the talent they have. it is so exciting... God is soooo good. but the amazing part about it though, is about 6 weeks ago, we started fasting on Tuesday nights. we didn't make it mandatory, and at first no one did, but ate the peanut butter sandwich. but then our director said, "give this one month. if you don't see God working, I will lay a feast before you." and so everyone participates!!!!! so instead of eating on Tuesdays, we are in the chapel from 5pm-6pm praying over the prayer cards from the various churches we sing and give our testimonies at, and just drawing near to God. so then, Teen Challenge had a few financial difficulties. and so in the mornings after Proverbs, we get on our knees again for about twenty minutes, and we pray for Teen Challenge- our leaders, board of directors, supporters, etc. and ever since that time, there has just been major, major changes... we got a new sound system donated to us (ours went completely out, and we were using a small radio on chapel nights), the students and staff here, including me, have grown stronger spiritually, and then this... it just makes my heart sing... praise God, He is so good. He continually blesses us... of course there is always that possibility, we won't be able to sale the property we have now, but I can't wait to see what God is going to do.

and Teen Challenge is a 13 month faith based program for men, women, and teens who struggle with life-controlling issues. I was a student, and I was taught how to turn to God instead of self-injury, I was taught how to forgive, and I am an entirely different person. always being molded, but just so on fire for God... it is a great program, has an 86% success rate. I graduated last year, and have been an intern since October.
