I want to give a shout out to the Lord of the Universe. He brings us together as one Body, and He encourages us to support one another!
Today was pretty amazing because of two different situations. First, I was at church for a ministry meeting, and one of our guys' car wouldn't start. I happened to have a jumper cable, and another guy offered his car as the starter. So that worked out. Then, another guy needed a cell phone, which someone lent him.
Later in the day, I suddenly needed to move a piece of furniture ASAP, and so I called the only person I know with a van, and she was willing to come out immediately to help me with it!
Very often, I can fool myself into thinking that I live an independent life. But I actually much prefer seeing how God knits us together as a community!
P.S. On a different note, I thank God for showing me today that He truly does love us first.
