Praise Dance?

I am wondering how you go about getting started in praise dance. I know alot of times it's with a group, like as a dance team. However, I've looked into it and there doesn't seem to be anything like this in my area.
It seems as though I'm being called to this..to have this as part of my ministry. I don't know how to go about getting into this field though. I was a member of my high school color guard for five years, so spinning flags and dancing isn't new to me. Also, I've researched this and found some videos and it seems I already know some of the steps and such, as it is what I have done on my own in my praise and worship time when I'd be alone in my room, putting on some music, and just dancing and singing praises.
How would I go about getting started with this? I know prayer first asking God to lead me and such, which I have already been doing. But now what do I do? How can I become active in doing this?

doing it in your own room is a good way to start...it gives you the confidence and practise...

I tried to start my own group a while ago as well...what I did was talking with others who might be interested in it to see if I could get a group together and then I spoke to the church leadership about it to get a room at church for doing it....

once you've got a room and a time sorted start advertising a first meeting (church bulletin, announcements, e-mails, whatever)

make sure people know that what they are doing is NOT performance but praise...that it doesn't matter how good they are but that they praise God with what they are doing...

you can think about doing a small dance in church as an advertisement as well....but I made sure everyone who wnated to participate in the group knew that if they didn't want to they wouldn't have to dance in a meeting....

keep doing what you are doing!
but also look around online for dance conferences, maybe one will be held that you can get to during the summer where you can meet others and learn about worshipping God in dance. you can also go online and read about it, just google "worship dance" or "praise dance" and there is a lot of information out there.
