Practicing HIS Presence
by Brother Lawrence and Frank Laubach

i will quote this book and tell you what it says later. Let me start with this quote from the intro: "it is possible to experience CHRIST continuously"

"fill every minute full of the thought of GOD"

If you have any worry
give it immediately to GOD

"Can we have contact with GOD all the time? All the time awake, fall asleep in HIS arms and awaken in HIS Presence? Can i bring the LORD back in my mind flow every few secoonds so that GOD shall always be in my mind? I choose to make the rest of my life an experiment in answering these questions"

Long nuturing is the price of having fellowship with GOD

It is a matter of acquiteing a new haabit of thought. It is not easy but being aware of the fact that we are living in HIS presence makes it well worth the work!!

This is the best way to act: talk a greeat deal to the LORD

Thalk with JESUS tell HIM everthing!!

Try to call CHRIST to mind at least one second of each minute

Practice the Presence of CHRIST

This drastic change in habit requires a real effort at the begining

Instead of talking to yorself, for the habit of talking to CHRIST

there are no losers excepting those who quit

Notes i wrote on page 43:

Instead of talking to yourself talk to JESUS

instead of having mental conversations with others have them with JESUS!!
