Power of God

Brothers and Sisters, I have much to say here. Please read these scriptures carefully, many times over. I tell you that these scriptures are a few of the keys to the Kingdom, and we must enter into their truth. These things have become exceedingly important to me, and I hope that my words edify and strengthen, clarify and encourage.

Romans 6 - Death
1 Cor 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die.

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Job 14:7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Romans 7 – Contrary Kingdoms
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

1 Cor 15:46,7 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Romans 8 – Resurrection
1 Cor 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

1 Cor 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

Mat 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

I feel burdened to bring these things to my brothers and sisters on this board, for they have become glaring, burning truth to me, and I feel they hold the keys that we so long for. Deep revelation will bring truth, and we must approach with prayerful, open hearts. Understand that our relationship has absolutely nothing to do with “name it and claim it”. It is absolutely false, and has attempted to usurp the Majestic Glory of our Risen Christ. We are in a living, organic relationship where our very beings are coming into conformity with our God!

We have been speaking of casting out devils and demons. We must understand some things before we can progress into the realm of dominion. Oh Lord, heal all those who are sick! (DOMINION) Oh Lord, work mighty miracles! (DOMINION) Oh Father, let words of knowledge and prophecy flow from the lips of your servant! (DOMINION) This dominion was regained in Christ Jesus, and is now truly available to every child of God, to each member according to their faith. It is the Glory of His ministry. But there are paths of death through which we must pass in order to attain this glory of His resurrected life.

This death I speak of is of the utmost importance. It is the first step in Divine progression; you will see it throughout scriptures. Both Romans and 1 and 2 Corinthians are absolutely packed with this “death”. It is not a death we can bring about by our own will or effort, but if we truly seek to be earthen vessels with a manifest treasure of glory, He will pull us through this death. Many call it “taking up one’s cross,” “dying daily,” etc. This is not a poetic tool. It is a spiritual verity. We must have a deep and breaking revelation of this truth!!

After passing through this period of deep and seemingly destructive “death to self,” through whatever experience the Lord breaks us with, we will awake new creatures. This period of breaking may be months. It may be minutes. It will change us permanently, though, and I feel that this truly is the baptism in the Spirit. Forget tongues, forget prophecy. Anyone can do those with a little faith, even an ***. We want to meet God, and leave as changed people. After we awake, everything we see, every breath we take, every tongue we pray, every morsel of food speaks GRACE. Suddenly we realize that we are no longer our own, and our every breath is inhaled because He chooses to sustain us. We will not have to repeat this truth over and over to try and “reckon” it to be true (as Romans 6 puts it), for it will be true already if we have had the revelation. It is true, whether we are conscious of it or not, but the revelation brings a constant, consistent awareness of this truth. It is not an effort to try and be thankful, for we will already know we do not deserve what we are or what we have been given…

It is here that we have met an experience that few enter into. I feel that many of us remain a simple son of Sceva for most, if not all, of our Christian walks (Acts 19:15). When I hear people say that they are trying to “invoke” the Power of the Risen Christ in the theory that they believe He is the Son of God and that all authority on Heaven and Earth has been given to them, I cringe. When will we learn that He is that power? When will we learn that we are dealing with a Person?


This Person has His own Will, Hand, Eye, Desire, and Hope. Our wills and person are totally contrary to His (Romans 8:2). Our faculties, as gifted as they may be, cannot be vehicles of Glory. They are only hindrances to the things that He wishes to do. (Contrary Laws! Romans 8:2!) No matter what, our flesh, our natural man, cannot inherit His Kingdom of Dominion, or His ministry of Glory (2 Cor 3&4). We may be naturally discerning: He wants to work a supernatural, perfect spiritual discernment. We may be especially versed in medicine: He wants to perform miraculous healing. We may have a natural gift of knowledge and wisdom: He wants to impart knowledge of people’s lives, wisdom in light of eternal truths, and gifts no normal man can “think up”. Only when we die and arise from the dead as empty, broken vessels does He rebuild us in conformity to Himself, and it is HIS OWN GLORY which He works into us. It is not ours! Every depth of anointing, every plateau of revelation is a more thorough breaking (death) and conformity to Him (resurrection). As we pass from Glory to Glory, Faith to Faith, we find we are more in line with His Will and Person, and His power will be pouring forth. But with these experiences will come greater knowledge that we have no power what-so-ever! The more deeply we understand this, the more He can work through us. Oh God, grant us vision of your Son!



I ask all who are reading this to look over the scripture verses which I previously introduced, again. Read the chapters in Romans (6,7,8)!! Don’t trust me, trust the Word of God! It is a Divine principal, a Divine progression: Death first. Glory second. Flesh is contrary to Spirit. Spirit is above flesh. The first man is flesh, the second man is Spirit. The Spirit alone can inherit the Kingdom, the Dominion of God. If we truly wish to see deliverance flow and all bondage to go, we will enter into our death as soon as possible, so that the glorious liberty of the Spirit of Sonship will reign victorious and boundless in our lives. We will love everything we touch, and everything we touch will heal. His life of unhindered Dominion will be worked into us, and we will see realms of beautiful Presence and blessing wash over us, very physically. We will finally understand the psalmist when He says “Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.” (Psalm 42:7) Oh to be swept under the waves and into the depths of the Spirit! Praise God! Hallelujah!
