Big, I admit one of my flaws. When it comes to electronics I am very slow to purchase. I read reviews, comments, features, until I'm blue in the face. I am not going to buy a digital camera for at least 5 years because I'm waiting for a little more advancement and the prices to come down on high tech cameras.

As far as a scanner, I'm looking at one that specialises in slide as that is what I shoot. Epson, Nikon and Minolta have some nice ones, but the same as with the camera.

hehe, I bought my daughter a digital camera for Christmas. It was $19. It doesn't take a huge chunk to break into it. :) Granted, it doesn't do near as well as my 3.2 megapixel $100 cheapy.

It's worth it, just so you can document stuff and create your own screensavers from "my pictures". :)
