my mom's answer to any illness was paragoric, if i spelled that right, give me that in a hot tea and i'd sleep for 16 hr's

sounds like a type of "white coat"syndrome. or a reverse of that thing where moms say kids are sick..

We are all used to it. We hide our ailments from her. My youngest daughter hid a broken arm for several days before she could no longer take the pain. Then she was worried about her sister having a problem.

It is all about attention though. If someone is getting more attention, then she starts up.
You should have sen her when her sister was in labor. We had to send her to bed.

1. Tempurature of 104
2. Projectile vomiting (regular was not enough)

I know kids and adults like that. I actually know a person whose boyfriend died from an accidntal overdose because she had just had surgery and he wasn't getting all the attntion.
