Genesis 28:15

And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you in all places whither you go, and will bring you again into this land; for I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken to you of.

Gen 28:16 Then Jacob awoke form his sleep and said, "Surely the Lord is the this place, and I did not know it."

Gen 28:17
He was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven."

Gen 28:18 Then Jacob rose early in the mornin, and took the stone that eh had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it.

Genesis 28:19 - And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city [was called] Luz at the first.

Gen 28:20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, "If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am giong, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,

Genesis 28:21 - So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:

Genesis 28:22 "And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God's house, and of all that you give me I will surely give a tenth to You."

GE 29:1 Then Jacob continued on his journey and came to the land of the eastern peoples.

Gen 29:2 And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, lo, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone was upon the well's mouth.

Gen 29:3
When all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone away from the well's mouth and water the sheep. Then they would return the stone to its place over the mouth of the well.

Genesis 29:4 - And Jacob said unto them, My brethren, whence [be] ye? And they said, Of Haran [are] we.

Gen 29:5 And he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him.

GE 29:6 Then Jacob asked them, "Is he well?"
"Yes, he is," they said, "and here comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep."

He said, The sun is still high; it is a long time yet before the flocks need be gathered [in their folds]. [Why not] water the sheep and return them to their pasture?

Gen 29:8
"We can't," they replied, "until all the flocks are gathered and the stone has been rolled away from the mouth of the well. Then we will water the sheep."

Gen 29:9 Now while he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father's sheep, for she was a shepherdess.

Gen 29:10
When Jacob saw Rachel daughter of Laban, his mother's brother, and Laban's sheep, he went over and rolled the stone away from the mouth of the well and watered his uncle's sheep.

Gen 29:11 Then Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice and wept.

Jacob told Rachel he was her father's relative, Rebekah's son; and she ran told her father.
