In the past there were "come as you are parties" where you were asked to show-up in the clothes you were wearing when you received the invitation.

Think of this thread like that. Try to remember the most recent music you played/heard, and post a link.

I loved your 'If these were the candidates for 2020 ...' thing. So absolutely right on.

Herbie Hancock's 'Watermelon Man'. So absolutely classic jazz.

Played "Theme From A Summer Place" on another thread a while ago. One of the loveliest musical pieces ever written.

I like that song. I've heard it many times, but I never knew its name. :)

Here is the last music I think I heard. I don't particularly like it, because it seems too rigid somehow. It is peppy though:

I like the middle eastern music's use of complex percussion.

Used to her this all the time as a kid.

Don't remember the whole piece.

Maybe it was part of an advertisement ...

And he walks with me
And he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
That was one of my grandmother's favorite hymns :)

I never would have imagined that singing inside a tin building would sound good, but it does. :)
