I'm trying to think of just one positive thing, and that's a positive in itself. The fact that I can think of more than one or two.

My 10 month old gave me a wet, sloppy kiss, looked me straight in the eye and said "mama".

I'm starting my new 2nd job on Saturday. It pays more than my old one, and instead of being open 24/7, they're closed every Sunday and holidays, so I'm guaranteed those days off.

It's Canada Day tomorrow!! Fireworks, candy apples, cotton candy...hmm. I've just come to the realization that I'm more excited about the food than Canada's birthday.. *strokes chin sagely*

My positive thing is that I've been focused intently on being positive since yesterday and I'm doing positively well with that! I was *really* tired yesterday, so it was a challenge to stay upbeat and also not roast alive with the a/c at work dying.
Today the a/c is back and I got some sleep.

Thought yesterday that a bird who is sitting on a nest in one of our hanging plants had been scared away by noise. But she is back and still sitting. Small thing but so thankful to God to hear our prayer even for a bird. He cares.

Because of the Internet I can listen to a radio show which my own daughter hosts..over 2000 miles from where I live. I am grateful for modern technology.

A friend of our Pastor's that works for a company that arranges tours for bands thinks he can get my wife and I tickets for a Meet and Greet with Def Leppard in Charlotte, NC in August. I'm not sure my wife will be able to contain herself if it all works out.

My positive is that I've been working on *being* more positive in my reps and comments to people on CF. Even people I haven't gotten along with for a long time. I gave someone a positive rep recently giving them kudos for honesty. I noticed this morning by chance that they shared that rep with someone else on their Visitor Messages.

So really even those little things can make a difference. It's like the ripple that becomes a wave.

My wife and kid are back in town!! They were only gone a week and I missed them.
