Icor1311 I am trying to learn the guitar is that anything like the banjo if so where do you suggest finding a good beginer book?

oh, man. The banjo is so much different. If you can play one, you can usually play the other. However, going from guitar to banjo was so difficult for me because of the way the banjo is played.

As far as a beginner's book, I had bought a DVD with the Banjo. The lessons are really simple. I'll get the name of the DVD and post it. We just moved, so give me a little time..LOL

Yeah it is kind of confusing. We wrote some really ausome songs and my friends dad is a band teacher and he can listen to you sing something and put notes to it so he is doing it for us and it is really ausome!!!

yup, that's my 2 little men. It's so funny. The youngest likes to grab the oldest by his shirt tails and follow him all around the house. It is so hilarious. I've never laughed so hard like I did tonight.

I have the total opposite in my household, I'm the only female. I have a 5 year old son, and 2 male (fixed) cats, and my husband.
