It happen just last Wednesday in Guadalajara Jalisco México. A consacrated host bleed, Th priest who testified this miracle said that he received a message in a voice saying:

"Mi querido apóstol, Dolores, hoy es un día grande. Me manifestaré en esta comunidad. Repica las campanas para que acudan todos los que lleguen. Derramaré bendiciones a los que estén presentes"

José Dolores Castellanos Gudiño, cura que mostró la hostia.

With google Traslator:

"My dear apostle, Dolores, today is a big day. Manifest myself in this community. Chimes bells for attending all comers. Pour blessings to those who are present"

José Dolores Castellanos Gudino, cure that showed the host.

My own traslation:

"My dear apostle, Dolores, today is a big day. I will manifest myself in this community. Chime the bells for attending all comers. I will pour blessings to those who are present"

José Dolores Castellanos Gudino, cure that showed the host.

''Hostia sangrante'' pone a prueba la fe de tapatÃ[bless and do not curse]os :: El Informador

The bleeding host was shown to people wednesday, and thrusday morning when the Archbishop, cardinal José Francisco Roble Ortega, ordered to take the pretended miracle to be studied and also retired the Priest for deeper psycoanalysis in order to verify that the pretended miracle is not fake.

From my opinion if it is Fake it will be an outrageous scandal, but if it is real it will be a Great Miracle.

Wow! Will they be investigating this for authenticity?

Yes, In fact the bishop has taken the host and has removed it from the assistance of the lay in order to verify the autenticity of the miracle before it creates any massive delusion. It is not longer in exposition and the bishop has called for an extraordinary commision to investigate the case.

In this link yo can see some pictures of last Wednesday:

I wonder how long it will be before we hear anything.

Bishop said that they are going to be very rigurous about, I hope they also will be very fast taking care of course of details. Father Dolores, who testified the miracle, said that the voice he heard told him that we can make whatever analysis required to verify that the miracle is Real.

Back when I was a kid there was what I believe was a Roman Catholic Church in the area that claimed a miracle because one of their oil paintings of the crucifixion began dripping oil from the spots where the wounds where depicted.

I honestly can't remember exactly where it is or what church it is. I can only tell you the region that I live in. Is there any place that I could find out if this was a confirmed miracle or not?

I really don't know. Maybe type in approved Catholic miracles or Catholic miracles under investigation?

Thanks for sharing - let us know what the studies say. Should be done within 6 months - right?

This is the humble parish where the pretended miracle just happened this week:

Well, i think the word you want is alleged [or supposed] instead of pretended.
Pretended makes it seem it is already a known fake.

I did some searching thanks to being reminded of it via this thread. Anyways I read something that said that the church has never confirmed a miracle involving a painting.

So either I'm mistaken and it was an orthodox church or something happened but the church refused to confirm a miracle or there was a hoax. Even though I had no understanding of Christianity at the time, my memory is clear enough to tell you that I'm almost certain it was either a Roman Catholic or Orthodox church because of the style of the church.

To be honest at the time (I was probably 8) I was an atheist so I felt that it was a hoax. I only went because my parents wanted to see it.

My mom mentioned wanting to see the back of the painting but none of us where brave enough to ask them to let us see the back of the painting.
