Possibility of other planets with intelligent life

Although the Bibble has only stated that god has only created Earth and the only intelligent life on it was Adam and Eve, is it possible that somewhere in the whole of the big universe, there is another planet with intelligent beings on it??? It can be created naturaly, not nessasery by God or any heavenly being.

Another question is that who created the other eight planets in our solar system???

The Bible does not say He only created Earth, it says He created everything. Every planet, star, solar system, ect.

But it does not say Earth is the only planet, it only says the "heavens," so it could be possible that He created other solar systems with life, but we have no evidence one way or the other, so I don't dwell on it.

I think there has to be a purpose, or Earth and the other eight planets in the solar system will seem to have no purpose too...

Frankly, I'm not totally opposed to the idea that there are other Gods who created other solar systems.

I have always been intrigued with space. I guess it's because I grew up watching things like the Apollo missions to the Moon when I was a child. Not to mention Star Trek episodes. We even had "modern" space age looking furniture when I was growing up. I guess I've always been open to the possibilities.

I have a philosophy about things like this. I will not state absolutely that something does or doesn't exist if I cannot prove or disprove it absolutely.

If we don't have the intellect or technology to go to all the furthest regions of space...I don't think any of us can realistically say what is or isn't out there.

Sure, we human beings would like to believe that we're all there is. But I just am not willing to put limits on what God can do.

I would not like to believe this, it would be great if there was life on other planets.

The Bible states that God created the heavens and the earth, the sun, the moon, the stars.... and we know that some of the stars in the heavens are the other planets of this solar system.


God created it all, and not just this solar system, but all of the universe to include other solar systems.

I don't know if God reated "intelligent" life on other planets, He doesn't tell us that in His Word. But also, God has not told us that any intelligent life was created "naturally". That is only an interpretation of man.

I dont think there is life on other planets I always did up until about 6 months ago. The way I see it GOD put so much love into this planet look at ALL the life on this planet its BOOOOOOOOMING with LIFE and then we look at Space. Statistically it should be everywhere yet we have seen none so far. So that leads me to believe that by looking at this small planet is another way GOD shows us his overwelming love and power. That he put his all into making us and this planet. And space is just the junk left over from this great creation he made earth!

You do realise that we have yet to seriously look at a small earth sized planet in other solar systems, right? Only large jupiter sized ones. So its not really correct to say it should be everywhere, when we havnt even looked at other planets like ours to even check if it is or not.

It is hard to think that God has no beginning or end. Everything we know of has a beginning and an end. If the earth is six thousand years old, or if it is millions of years old... it is still young when you compare it to God. I would think that God has a lot going on that we do not know about. The Bible even says that God hides things from us. The Bible makes it clear that we are very important to God. So important that He sent his Son to die for us. We may or may not be God's greatest creation (I think we are), and there is really no way to know what else God has created unless we stumble upon it, or unless He decides to reveal it to us.

There was a meteorite that was blasted off of Mars that contained fossilized cells on it. It happened in about 1996 if I remember correctly. Since Mars is one of the few planets in our system with polar ice caps, it was very possible that millions/billions of years ago, Mars did have a suitable condition for our known type of life to exist. There are dried river beds, extinct volcanoes, etc. But then something happened where the entire planet was turned into a big desert...
