You seem to completely fail to distinguish between viewing pornography and being addicted to pornography. There is a big difference, as there is between drinking alcohol and being an alcoholic.

That people have a sex drive is not immature. That they have no un-natural, un-healthy and immoral puritanical outlook doesn't make them immature either.
I didnt say that people have a sex drive was immature, it is immature what they do with it,like watch porn!

I am married, of course I have a sex drive. We all do. God made us that way. God made man to want a woman, but one woman. The problem is evil gets in the way to mess it up. Evil /sin has created things like porn.

You are just so adorable.

Okay fine. Whatever. I stand strong in my beliefs. I will pray for each of you. But why must you watch another couple going at it? Shouldnt your wife's body be enough to arouse?

Don't pray for us. It's insulting. You're essentially saying that we have a problem when we don't, and you're praying for us to be less happy in our marriage.

My wife can certainly arouse me on her own. Usually, she does. Porn is not something we throw on every time we're intimate. I should also note that when it is used, it is most often at my wife's behest, rather than mine. Plus, porn can give inspiration for new techniques/positions/toys that we might want to try ourselves.

Porn has only served to enhance our marriage and our sex life. It's quite liberating, actually. It opens many new avenues of our relationship for us to explore.

i have no problems with consenting adults selling the images of themselves having sex and saying that it increases rapes it's like saying that watching kill bill increases murders, there must be a problem before there, something that would have come out anyways.
you have the trend of blaming entertainment for everything...censorship is the worst thing that can happen to a country.
still, i personally don't understand the point of porn, what's the benefit in watching strangers having sex, if you don't know their stories, their voices, if they are or not charming and appealing? they are like bidimensional creatures, besides it has nothing to do with how sex actually is (even the least loving and romantic one in the world) and in my eyes is actually kind of ridiculous.
i'm not judging anybody, i just don't understand, at that point go in a bar and find a mate....

The porn industry does exploit. Here, I'll prove it...

ex·ploit
1.
to utilize, esp. for profit; turn to practical account
2.
to use selfishly for one's own ends
3.
to advance or further through exploitation; promote

Each one of those definitions fit either the producers of pornography, the actors and actresses, store owners, consumers or all of the above not to mention the industry as a whole.

Sex is something that most people (not ALL, Promise) desire, so the fact that it is available for sale is not surprising. The sugar comparison was dead on. If people want something somewhere someone will realize that they can make money by producing it, selling it or both. If someone makes/sells something it is because someone is buying it. Dunkin Donuts has been exploiting my desperate need for glazed goodness since I was 4. Everything we enjoy in this world is exploiting something or someone. Why would sex be any different?

Welcome to a consumer driven world!

i'm a pretty liberal christian, i have a very metaphorical interpretation of the bible and i think all the sex related issues are a cultural superstructure in the christian community and don't belong to the deeper message.
still, told you, i don't like porn, but i have no problem with people looking at it.

The fact that we disagree does not mean you are wrong in your beliefs. You believe what you believe, and there is nothing wrong with standing up for that.

However, your personal beliefs don't belong in other people's bedrooms, just as my personal beliefs don't belong in yours. As long as only consenting adults are involved, we should all mind our own business.

My husband and I have a Hustler subscription, and we both look at it and enjoy it. We're over 18 and the models are over 18. I have no guilt whatsoever about it.

my hypothetical husband is not "people", still i don't know if it would bug me, it would hurt my ego probably.
i had a boyfriend who liked to watch stuff with lesbians, he was kind of frat-boy thought, didn't bothered me much.

Okay. But looking at porn is lusting after another....Jesus said that anyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart....if he looked at porn and find arousal in that by looking at other womans bodies that really wouldnt bother you? Its like inviting other women into your marriage...whether real or imaginary its still cheating. He might as well physically cheat...because he is using that woman to get him off
