It would make more sense to me if people just admitted that the Orthodox side was on the right side of the split and just moved there instead of splintering again. I left Orthodoxy and my heart has always called me to Catholicism, but hey, I'm human, and if this happens I'm going back and repenting and apologizing hardcore.

Orthodoxy is very alien to us westerners. Its very unfortunate, but aside from in the US most countries have no western rite of it. That leaves us with the unviable option of either sticking with the unfolding madness in our own church or having to learn church slavonic and adjust ourselves to eastern fanaticism. Its like Sophie's choice...
