While I disagree with the assessment, 24 homers is impressive.

I find it funny that she was dead for 23 hours but her mother didn't call anybody because she wanted to give God 24 hours. So we have zero evidence that she was dead... Except what she and her mother say.

Ok I read it. Reminds me of Mary Baxter's Divine Revelation of Hell. Very similar but she did not name names.

How does a person who has a near death experience discern whether it is of God, of the Devil, or just a hallucination? Same with visions?

I guess it would be anything that goes against the Gospel. I have a hard time believing Jesus would name names so that loved ones could be tormented by this thought. Or that cartoons & listening to Selena songs doom you to hell. people that have NDE's & can tell you what happened or talk about a shoe on the roof are the ones I find fascinating.

We're Catholics

We don't believe in Rapture.

I fact we don't believe in the whole "Revelation as end times guide" horse mature period.

If I may, a short excerpt from the Introduction of Revelation in the NAB:

This book contains an account of visions in symbolic and allegorical language borrowed extensively from the Old Testament, especially Ezekiel, Zechariah, and Daniel. Whether or not these visions were real experiences of the author or simply literary conventions employed by him is an open question.
This much, however, is certain: symbolic descriptions are not to be taken as literal descriptions, nor is the symbolism meant to be pictured realistically.

The women is a fake or flake or flam-flamer or possibly a fibber.

(I can still alliterate alluringly when I have the inclination)

But she is definitely NOT in direct communications with God

Ya know - a lot of 'rapturists' are going to grab this up.

One thing about most NDE's who go to hell - they never name names of those there. Just that they recognize someone or such.
