I agree totally with the Rule of not adopting a pet over $500. It is wrong. Do I like it, NO I DO NOT! But we all know people are buying cheap and selling high. LET US Take back the control of the adoption center. We have suffered greater losses or hurt and have gotten over it so Today is the time to start using our Power as a group to fight back. Put the word out there, people that put a pet up for more than 500 blessings will not get paid or get the blessings. Make the Rule know to the whole membership of CF that The CF Pet Forum Rules will not allow pet workers to save pets that have been put up for more than 500 blessings. I am not saying this will be easy, usually anything worth having does not come easy. But We CAN DO THIS!

When our new DoctorCF starts her term with us let us ask her to make this a Rule and state it plainly. Let us work together and stop this sick kind of game.

Let me talk to Erwin about this, and see what he says. If you can get me a list of the animals that people put up for over say 600 blessings or even over 700 blessings, just to make a profit. And I will send him the list along with your suggestions on limiting the adoption fees so that users can't use this to make blessings.

Back to this particular overpriced pet...

The owner has asked me how to change the sales price. I don't think there's a way to do that. Am I right? So what are her options?

That's what I was thinking.

I'll send her a PM suggesting this solution. If she's game, I'll buy the pet and put it up for the price she suggests (as long as it's less than 700).

that's the only way to change a prize once the pet is there...we had a case like this before and it worked out hope that we can get that pet safed now as well

I have an idea.
If a pet is newly born, the owner can only sell it for the price he/she made it for. That is if they have taken care of the pets for 3 months. The daycare cost about 12 blessings. And a 25 hour hunger reduced chicken cost 6 blessings. So if the owner choose to use the day care, they will be paying twice as much as it cost to take care of the pet themselves. After 3 months, the person can sell the pet for as high as 800. After 6 months, they should be able to sell their pet for 900 blessing. After 12 months, it would be 1,100 blessing. After 2 years, it should be 1,500 blessing. The pet is worth a lot when it is older. After 3 years, it could be sold for 1,900 blessing.
I believe that people should be allow to sell their pets for how much they want to sell it for. If they are doing it out of greed, which is selling it after for a high amount after it is born, then they should not be allow to do that. Why buy a new pet 900 blessing when you can just make a new one for less blessing? We could advice members that they can make a new pet for 700 blessing but if they want an non-baby pet, then they would have to pay the owner's fee.
Also, I think we should be allow to have two pets in our profile.

Oh, someting else I forgot to mention is that it is not really that easy to get a hang of feeing pets and buying food for them. The pages are complicated at first glance so maybe the user just gave up trying to learn it all?

It's a bit like trying to get a CF character. It took me weeks and lots of help from people before I was able to figure it out. Things should have step 1, step 2 etc, written on them, even the help pages are not that easy to understand.
