Has anyone considered the possibility that the years Adam was recorded to have lived could have started after the fall of man when he became mortal and his days became numbered? Adam and Eve could have lived for thousands or even millions of years as immortal beings in the garden of Eden before the fall.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The only problem I have is in Gen 1:28.
How many children do you think Adam and Eve have while they were in the Garden? Is Gen 1:28 said before the sin?
The only clue I have toward the answer is to notice that the Garden does have a territorial limit.
So, if children of Adam and Eve did spill out of the Garden, then I have no problem with your understanding.

I'm not saying that I do or don't believe this theory to be true but it does throw out the window the whole argument that the Bible couldn't possibly be true because the earth would only be under ten thousand years old. I don't know for a fact if the earth is as old as many scientists claim it is but this just shows that even if that is proven 100% to be true and can't be denied, this just gives the creation story another leg to stand on.

If you believe there is a place called the Heaven, which is a type of space, then it must have some relationship to the property called time, which we do not understand yet. For those people who think that they know time, they only live in a 2D space like ants.
