The pentagram was and is a Christian symbol, long before it became anything else. The insistence of some branches of Christianity on ignoring this point does not invalidate the Christian history and usage of these symbols.

But the eight point star CAN and IS used as an occult symbol and so is the cross!

Symbols carry the meaning WE bring to them.

These symbols have a well defined dominent meaning.

It seems to me that there some Christians who believe in the power of magic much more than most Wiccans I've ever met.

Superstition seems more prevelant among Christians than anywhere else. Bring back the Salem witch trials!

Yeah, only now it's "gay-hater" trials.

To deny that the devil exhists is to deny that God exhists. So yes we do have to believe in whitchcraft.
