Police making me read Hebrew

[Four Years]

in this one, a kid named Kyle was driving me somewhere

it was some kid named Kyle from way back in highschool

we were apparently going somewhere to meet some people

he was driving very fast though, he was breaking the speed limit

i was wondering why he was going so scary fast though but he seemed like he had it under control

we were coming up right on the behinds of cars we were going so fast

then at one point, he finally wrecked us

then the scene changed to him and i at a Police Station

HE was the one in trouble though since he was driving

i had to wait in this one room while Kyle got i don't know, processed and made a phone call i guess to someone

however, while waiting in the waiting room, this Police woman called me up and required ME to i think get a NEW Driver's License

their policy for this was strange though, what she had me do was read the HEBREW Alphabet and then this other line of Hebrew text while she took my picture!

i was having trouble though

This is really interesting... The moving car may symbolize power. Sometimes in dreams another person, friend, pet, will actually symbolize someone else or possibly the dreamer. It may be that you or someone you know is simply going to quickly, ie, in a relationship, a business deal, a project, or the walk with the Lord. There are a couple of good easy to understand books on Hebrew letters that may have a message for you. They are fascinating since each letter is a symbol and has a meaning behind it. Police normally stand for authority, which God is, so I believe He's telling you something...

While it's a great danger to seek to be justified by law, it's also dangerous to neglect the principles that drive the law. We often do that when we first become acquainted with grace. Eventually we go off the rails and realize that, as Paul says, we should not sin so grace can abound.

That's what I see here. The speeding represents a misunderstanding of grace, leading to a wreck. The police represent law, as does the Hebrew language. I think the message of the dream concerns grounding yourself in the principles of God, so you can abide in grace properly, to greater effect in your life.

Also, there's the aspect of making sure you keep good company, because attitudes will rub off on you. Here you're held responsible for what others you are with have done.

I DO struggle between law and grace.


I DO sin alot...I battle the desire to look at Pornography and have for many years.


The only thing that I would disagree with is the "keeping company" bit.


I'm a loner...I don't have company of ANY kind right now.

The porn can be the company you keep.

As with drugs...just say "no". Quitting cold turkey is your only option. He will follow up with you and heal the needs of your heart and mind that drive you to substitute it with porn.

Quitting cold turkey is an option but not a good one. There needs to be love and catering to that individual as quitting cold turkey is quite dangerous. Of course, not cattering to the addictions but catering to that person with love and care and gentleness.

When I saw Police I immediately thought of the Law. The Law makes you do things or says you aren't good enough yet, learn this, or learn that. When people want to learn Hebrew, it's sometimes done because people will think God will take more notice of them or that they will draw closer to God when in reality Jesus Christ has already set us free so there's no need. If you want to learn Hebrew do it out of your love for God and God's people.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. I generally believe healing come only come from within and I'll share, you can do it in the flesh, or be forced to give up things but will it produce an everlasting change? I also believe that if sincerely want to change, God will know and help us through whatever decision we make when we lift it up to him. Change has to come from within with something like addiction, because you can dress up the person, scrub him clean and make him shine but when the inside is neglected then it's quite pointless.

And remember, prayer is very powerful, even with dreams, you can all ask God for the interpretation through His Holy Spirit and it's actually more clearer when you do this because as with all of us here, who are led by the Spirit I feel sometimes some of us rely on our understanding to dreams and the interpretations can be off.

If you had been a member a little longer, you may have known that I have loved on Fouryears many times in the past. The enemy would love for us to believe that there is danger to quit, but there is absolutely "no" danger in quitting cold turkey things such as this. This is not a chemical substance problem. This is an emotional problem and he is a smart young man who already knows all of this full well. The porn is only a substitute for a deeper emotional need, and because the Lord gave us free will, he has to "choose" to stop looking at it, and stick with that choice. It is not going to happen for him until he hates what he is reaching for and chooses with all of his heart, mind, and soul to quit. It is just like quitting smoking (which is also an emotional need being fulfilled).

Yes, our Lord can help to lead us to that moment to choose to quit, but ultimately "you" have to decide/choose that it is right and pleasing to God for you to quit before the Lord steps in and enables you with His supernatural power to abstain from it and to receive His healing that will fill the places of lack and need. Faith comes first and power follows.

Perhaps the Hebrew represents God speaking to you but for some reason you are missing it. I would think it would be connected directly to the driving thing in that you or your friends are bringing you into places in your life that are dangerous or wrong but you are not so alarmed because "everything seems to be in control". Your friends around you might be putting you in physical emotional or spiritual harm and you are not seeing it yet. If you font wake up to see it and you "crash" or hot a low point perhaps then you will see that Gof was speaking to you and you need to tune in. I could be way of that is just my guess
