He is Orthodox. He is a big sponsor of FOCUS ministries and goes to DL on Tuesdays at a monastery in the Pittsburgh area.

No, there is no reason to root for the Steelers, ever. Polamalu has been my celebrity crush for many years and no, I will never root for the Steelers.

Don't start the Steelers bashing. You really do not want to hear my take on how Brett Favre has gotten a free pass on his sex messaging thing while Ben was taken to task for his abuse of women. It is all based in Steelers hatered and jealousy. Jealousy that the Steelers have 6 Vince Lombari trophies. Perhaps I need to post a picture of them?

It is all based in Steelers hatered and jealousy. Jealousy that the Steelers have 6 Vince Lombari trophies. Perhaps I need to post a picture of them?

Not a fan of the Steelers, not a fan of Brett Favre. He should get in as much trouble as Roethlesberger...though that does not excuse Big Ben of his abuse. My disgust with Ben is due to his actions, not because he's a Steeler.

Actually, I tend to like players more than teams anyway...you can thank Fantasy Football for that. Too bad we pick defenses not individual defensive players, or I'd go after Polamalu like a shot. A good player and a good guy, can't beat that.

The national media was quick to crucify Ben, but they have failed to discuss how he has totally turned his life arround in the time since this all becamse public. I blame this on 2 things: fixation on dirty laundry and Steelers hatred.

The other half of your fifth one belongs to the ref who gave it to you.

And before you start moaning at me - the ref himself admitted he made blown calls. That's nothing Pitt could have avoided, but it does tarnish the authenticity of the 5th.

The other 5 (1-4, 6) though, those were just plain old earned.

the 5th Lomardi Trophy rests in Pittsburgh, not Seattle. blown calls or not, the Seahawks had a ton of time to win, and they didn't.
