Well if a doctor prescribed it with a reason, then yeah. I meant people using leftover antibiotics for a viral ailment.There is risk for secondary bacterial infections associated with viral infections (e.g. secondary pulmonary MRSA infections associated with adenovirus) , so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for a doctor to prescribe antibiotics as a prophylaxis.
