Bifocal contact lens, kids...the only way to go for the over 40 crowd. Keep that in the back of your mind--someday you'll be here! My husband has to use cheap drug store reading glasses...not me! :D

You guys would hate me - my family definitely does. I'm the only one in my immediate family who doesn't need glasses. I'm also the oldest. My 22 year old sister had them at 3, and, sadly, my 29 year old sister has MS that affects her eyesight. My husband is also about to need bifocals. The 22 year old sister is also the only one who wears contacts. My husband can't get them in.

However, looking at computer screens have taken it's toll. I'm not better than 20/20 anymore. The day is coming - just not for a while yet. :D

I've determined that eventually all Lutherans will get off the topic of the original post (or conversation). Even if there are designated places/time for pointless discussions. It just must be a Lutheran thing.

Okay. I couldn't remember his name.

I really like Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions. It's almost like another Bible to me. ;)

This feature was in Mad Magazine in the mid 70s and maybe even to the present. Bill Engvall talks about true situations where people actually asked the stupid question and it is to those people he gives the sign.
