Har!!! You are about as funny as a bobble headed Martin Luther.

There was no explosion - that's why I had to go to the hospital. Very painful. I've learned since that I can do beans in very small amounts and I have to chew them more than anything else. Since I don't think it's lady like to look like I'm chewing that much, I tend to avoid them. This includes refried beans too.

If you add a little baking soda to your ham and bean soup, you can take most of the "punch" out of them.

If you scorch chili, add a little vinegar (or Tabasco sauce) to it to take out the scorched flavor.

No, not EVERYTHING - believe me. That's like saying garlic gives EVERYTHING a good flavor, and it doesn't even give all things a good flavor to me and I LOVE garlic. (you're getting me, a Lutheran who was raised in Cajun country going on food. . .do you know what you've started?!?!?)

Hey, Kagome--How's the weather in cajun country? My folks (who are from MS--I'm also from there originally) are down in New Orleans for the weekend. I sure wish I could be there--I miss my Cafe du Monde and shrimp poboys!!

$8?!?!?!? That's terrible! At my college, they had breakfast (all you can eat) for something like $4 or $5.

It translates into "Stone On Top Of" but it's used to mean "Rock On!" thanks to Lost And Found. I'll have to see if I can write down Michael's story - it kind of carries more of the meaniing "Rock on and God bless" just because of Lost And Found using it.

Did you know that it hurts terribly when you contact dries out and it is still in your eye? Owowowoo!

That's why I'm way too chicken to wear contacts. Plus, I have long lashes and they are constantly falling out and I've heard it's a real pain if one of those gets trapped underneath a contact lens.

I used to be too chicken, but I got tired of cleaning my glasses every five minutes!

Ow. . it had torn right in the center. That really hurts! Time to change them out again. . .which is really silly since I did that not too long ago!
