Hey, I used to have to make that sauce. Yuck!
I've never had to taste that sauce, and I think I'm quite glad! Of course, I live in Louisiana where so many things are simply "flavored" with Tony's Chachere's and/or Tabasco sauce. However, tabasco sauce can give a gumbo good flavor.

Tabasco gives EVERYTHING a good flavor! Especially habanero Tabasco.

Y'all are going to be absolutely SHOCKED when you hear (read) this!

My wife makes chili.... with noodles!  :sigh: :help:

I told her if she ever serves it to a cowboy and calls it chili, he's gonna kick her butt, and I'm gonna laugh!

I call the stuff goulash.

That ain't chili.
Real chili doesn't even have beans. They're just filler for people that can't afford more meat.
Marry me!

We'll just run off together and wait for the ELCA to say it's an ok lifestyle!

Don't tempt me. ;)
Tell ya what. You could make me happy if you offered me a job and promised not to take me for granted.
I'll cook for you a couple times a week.
Voila!

I promise not to take you for granted. I couldn't pay you either, though. :(

But once I win the lotto, I'm going to set up a non-profit to help low-income people to get into and stay in school. I'll hire you then! :D

Dear hubby suggested that we use string cheese on our lasagna because we're out of shredded mozzarella. I don't think that's going to work at all. Sometimes I really worry about that Y chromosome. It seems to mess with the minds of perfectly normal people when you least expect it. :p
Actually, that really does work. You just have to make sure you peel it into the little thread of cheese and don't keep the string cheese whole. It is mozzerella, after all. I've done such things and they work just fine, honestly! String cheese is also great for making fried cheese sticks!

Ew, that's not chili! That's just goulash or leftover stew! Not that those are bad, it's just what it is! It's not chilli!

I don't think the ELCA would say that's an okay lifestyle. Um, I'm not too much into the whole church politics thing, though - thankfully!

No, not EVERYTHING - believe me. That's like saying garlic gives EVERYTHING a good flavor, and it doesn't even give all things a good flavor to me and I LOVE garlic. (you're getting me, a Lutheran who was raised in Cajun country going on food. . .do you know what you've started?!?!?)

I put ketchup on my chicken and noodles. I learned it from my dad. However, you won't catch me smearing Miracle Whip on a pancake, putting ham on it, then folding it over and eating it like a sandwich.
Ew to both of those!
