awww the memories of pogs! I remember one of my girlfriends buying me a giant tube of those just because! The slammer made noises and everything. memories.
Oh yes, Pogs were the best. I lived in Canada when they came out and then went down to America to live and no one played them, lol. I loved collecting slammers. I would trade so many pogs just for those metal pogs.
I had this awesome slammer! It was metallic blue, made of some kind of steel because it was pretty heavy, and it even had the imprints of where you should put her fingers to hold it so that you can get the most effect out of it. Oh the sweet memories!
And then my mom stoled them from my room to sell them at a garage sell.
I used to have something like 2000 pogs, but they all got so nasty looking that they had to be thrown out....how much are they worth now? or do I want to know?
I have some, but I don't know where they are. They were really popular when I was in 3rd grade. I even had some Super Mario pogs. After school, some of my friends would come to my house with their pogs and we would play.
We played with pogs when I was in college. I still have about 200-300 of them and a few slammers as well. I even have a pog tournament board. I miss playing with them. Maybe, one day my daughter will want to learn.
