Do you write poetry and submit it anywhere that is good? I have some poetry and someone suggested I should publish it. Any thoughts on where to start?

i write poetry too. I write my poems on my blogs or post them on poetry message boards or keep them at home and show them to friends, my boyfriend and family to read them and see what they think. I would like to read your poems sometime

This poem I just wrote today

Poem: I feel his spirit in my soul

Give me an answer
What am I looking for
and I want you to know
that I'm afraid to say
that I am worried
about what the future holds for me
should I take a leap
should I just believe
that what Im looking for
is right in front of me
but why cant I see it
am I trying too hard
or am I too blind to see
that the future holds for me
is right in front of me
I cry out to you
I cry out to you
I praise the lord
The lord all that he has done (pause) for me
I dont know that much knowledge about him
but I put all my faith into all that he has done for me
I feel his spirit in my soul
I feel his spirit in my soul

He's raising me to the top
as we sing high and lifted up
rising to the light of your glory
that you answered my prayers
as we sing high and lifted up
That you were by my side
singing to the light of your glory
