Praise God!

I write a bit of poetry in my spare time and I've been selected for several poetry awards!But I have to go to NA to accept them and since I'm in AK costs are realy high .Pray that I can find the money to go so that I can share some of my talent and possebly witness to some people through my poem.
God is great!

Here's my poem.I didn't send the whole thing in to the contest because it was to long but this is the full version.​

Iraqi Freedom​

Gently shines the sun​

on this day bright and warm​

whatching friends play​

everything seems norm​

yet far, far away​

in a land harsh and dry​

our brave courageuos soldiers​

do battle fight and die.​

​

Not only for our country​

do they do this thing​

but for each Iraqis freedom​

and so that the people may sing​

of liberty and justice​

that brought down their​

dictator king.​

​

Three cheers for coalition troops​

Saddam is locked in jail​

he'll never ever rule again​

his reign as tyrant's failed.​

​

And though the wars not over​

we can res more at ease​

because we fight for​

what is right​

freedom and liberty.​

​

But freedom of this world offers​

nothing in God's 'ternal land​

so what the Iraqis need​

is grace given't from​

Christ's hand.​

​

Not one of our soldiers​

died in vain they made iraqs​

dream come true.​

But we realy must remember​

that freedom of this world​

will fade with death 'tis very true.​

​

This freedom from the Lord​

bests all all freedoms in the world​

releases us from sins​

death grip, making us children​

of the Lord.​

​
