I got a Toshiba e740 for my birthday from a friend. He worked at the electronics store and said that it was on the clearance table, so he just bought it for me for FAR less than it was worth.

I couldn't even get it to synch with my PC because the motherboard was fried. I called Toshiba, but since the warranty was expired, they said I'd have to pay $75/hour to have it fixed. That was more than it was worth. I was sad.

Luckily, Toshiba was doing a recall for that model (due to some battery error) and mine fell in the range of serial numbers that they published, so I sent it in. When it came back, the motherboard was fixed and I was able to synch.

I get most of my downloads from cNet

hp Ipaq 2210. I use it for schoolwork with a portable keyboard. Its pretty good, if it gets bumped it hard resets but it does take a pretty rough beating with the school bus and floating around in my bag all day.

I dont use it for music anymore (ipod...YAY) but i do occasionaly play jawbreaker in class (ok, its all the time)
