Beanie Babies. They're called BEANIE Babies. Bernie is the guy who lost the candidacy to Hillary.

I had tons of them as a kid, by the way.

My parents didn't let me have Beanie Babies on account that they were blasphemous towards the lord.

Instead they bought me Bernie Babies.

For real though.. I remember buying a beanie baby knock off at Target as a kid.. and on the tag it said the name of the animal was "Horny" because it was a rhinoceros or something. My parents became shocked and told me not to say that name out loud because it was a bad innuendo. So I decided to tell all the fellow customers at the store that the plush toy I was going to get at the check-out line was named "Horny".. I remember the adults looking at me in shock and my parents becoming really embarrassed and trying to get me to stop but that only made me want to say the name more.

More than 20 years later.. I'm not sure if that was a dirty innuendo.. but it's a funny childhood memory.

I had a large sized Disney Robin Hood stuffed animal when I was a kid that I took everywhere. When I was a child it was bigger than I was.

My mother found it in her attic about 5 years ago or so, with holes and stuffing (those little styrofoam beads like a beanbag) coming out of it. She asked if I wanted to keep it or if I wanted her to toss it in the trash. I said toss it no reason for me to have it.

Although now after looking online for an image to post of one just like it I see nothing, so had I kept it, had it sewn and filled.... I could have given it to little bull-swan if one is to ever be running around.... but oh well.

The only other stuffed animal I remember was a red raccoon I named Rocky.

Anybody ever as a kid thought maybe the toys came to life when you were not around like in Toy Story? Did anyone ever close the door and quietly and slowly open it in an attempt to catch the toys talking and walking around? Lol..

Reminds me of an funny incident my mother told me about. There was a native woman walking into the school she works at one person referred to her as a native. Another person corrected him and said she was aboriginal. Another person tried correcting them both saying she's first nations. The native woman then corrected them all saying, "...I'm an Indian!"
