Ok so me my wife and two kids slept in the living room last night. My wife and I on the floor, my son and daughter on two separate couches. As I fell asleep I started to dream that I awoke in a house with no rooms and my family and others I did not know were sleeping around me. It was very dim with a yellowish light. As I looked around I noticed the front door was open. As I look through the front door I see a flashing light almost like a flashlight. It stops for several seconds then flashes another two or three times repeatedly. I look behind me and a see a demonic young girl rise from a sleep. I woke instantly, but right after i woke 10 seconds later I hear my daughter yell out in her sleep "stop" and then my son started moving around on the couch and made a moan as if someone was bothering him. I woke my wife and told her what happened. Can anyone please shed some insight as to what this may mean? Also just before we slep my wife had told me she had seen something like a white shadow earlier, and jokingly i replied" it's not the white ones you have to worry about."

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Was there a particular reason why the entire family slept in the living room?
The lack of walls and the front door being wide open tells me something is wrong with the spiritual boundaries in your life(s)... it appears you are subject to attack and that the devil has a legal right to come in and invade your lives.
The flashlight reminds me of "illumination" which in turn reminds me of the "Illuminati" ... Not sure what your stance on the Illuminati is, but they are real - they play a large role in the New World order which the bible refers to (the enemy's government). In essence, the illuminati is a type of c u l t and are behind many of the end time plans of satan.
I don't want this to scare you, but I would suggest seeking out a Holy Spirit filled deliverance counsellor. It appears something satanic is about to awaken.

PS I'm not sure if you have ever asked Yahshua/Jesus Christ to be your personal saviour and ask Him into your heart to redeem you from all sin, but it is crucial you do so and then call on His name and His name only to save you from this evil thing.

The overlying caste of the dream speaks of evil – dimness with a yellowish light. The front door is open, and in this case I believe that means overt, wide-open access to something you don’t want. wow very powerful. thank you both for the insight. pretty freaked out when i look at it that way. when you say the door is wide open, thats what scares me the most because i have been seeing shadows from the corner of my eye here and there not just in my house but other places i work. i do cable so i travel all over several cities. i have made my conformation and belong to Holy Spirit Parish Church.

It sounds like you are under a lot of oppression and attack. It worries me when I hear someone say they are 'confirmed' and belong to a church in regards to their salvation. A popular but true saying is that belonging to a church does not make one a Christian any more than being in a garage makes someone a car.
What is important is that you have prayed directly to the Lord Jesus Christ (not thru Mary or any other saint) acknowledging that He is God incarnate who came to earth, died on the cross and rose again from the dead for remission of all sin. There is no church and no saint who can protect you - Only the Lord Jesus Christ Himself can help you. It's important you invite Him into your heart and ask Him to teach you how to have a relationship with Him directly.
I pray a hedge of the blood of Jesus around you and command all strongholds to be bound so the the truth of this hits it's mark in your heart of hearts in Jesus' name.

Also, I believe the other people sleeping around you that you don't know is unrealized dangers. I think the demonic little girl rising from sleep could be a problem just starting. The fact that your family was sleeping around in your dream and the real life reaction of your children (when you first woke up) may be that the attack is going to come against your family. This could be strife in the family.
I think God is warning you for you can "nip it in the bud", so to speak. stop it before it goes any further.
This is just my interpretation, check within your own spirit and ask the Lord for conformation.

Please ignore the illuminati-rant above, OP. Some people are so bored that they invent conspiracy theories that only THEY have "seen through" in order to try and make themselves more interesting.
However, the possibility of a demonic attack cannot be ruled out completely. It is, though, not necessarily the case. Nightmares, even those in which demons appear, are not always demonic in nature. They can just as easily be symbolic of your own fears, maybe fears that you've hidden away deep inside, not dealt with, etc.

Another thing is that the house without separate rooms suggests a lack of boundaries, exposing you and your family to influences you do not want. You are "lying down" with people who are taking their signals from a realm you want nothing to do with.
Make sure you have proper boundaries up. Do an examination, and make whatever changes might be needed. The Lord Jesus is your protector, and no harm can come to you if you are securely in Him. In addition to the scripture already mentioned, you might read Matthew 28, James 4, and Ephesians 1 and 6.
