Pleasentville

I attend a fundie Baptist Church and it gives me the impression of the movie Pleasentville. It (we including myself) seem to have a 1950's vanear, anyone else attend a church like this?

It wasn't me who came up with that title, 'Pleasentville' after the movie but another member when we were talking the other day. I think it fits.

It probably has more to do with the culture of the region, not the church itself.

Gone With the Wind fits us better... an old Southern Baptist church founded in 1822... home of the first NAMB... founded Judson College where I now work... the glory days are gone, but there's a better glory ahead!
