  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for who You Are - You are Holy and You are Just. We praise You that because of who You Are, You sent Your Son for us. Lord Jesus, we thank You that because of what You accomplished on the cross, we can live in Your life..in Your power..in Your righteousness. Holy Spirit, we thank You for dwelling within us. For being who will live this life more and more as You would, in and through us. Holy Lord, I pray for this dear sister in Christ today. Remind her of these truths - that she is IN You. That she is redeemed and restored. Remind her that in You, she is made new. Remind her that she is loved. I pray this will be something you remind her heart of daily, Lord, that she is dead to her old self and alive IN YOU. I pray you fill her with joy and peace daily as she becomes more and more of who she IS, In You. In Jesus' most precious and matchless name, Amen.
