  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I won't make this long. If you would like the background, feel free to look up my other posts. I NEED as much prayer as possible. Please pray for my husband (and my daughter and I). He recently informed me that he wants a divorce (though he is a Christian and knows it's wrong/previously "didn't believe in it"). I know he is under attack and satan is trying to tear our family apart. Please pray that God's will be done and my husband's heart will not be hard in order to allow Him to do His work. :prayer:Thanks to everyone ahead of time. I really appreciate the support I've gotten from CF. It has helped me to realize that I should stay and support my husband even when he thinks he doesn't want us here right now.

God we ask that you come to Cdiv's family as her husband in threating to leave. Whatever problems may be at the root of this God, I pray they are solved so that this family does not break up and that it instead remains whole and is able to be healed. Change her husband's heart and make him realize what this would do for his young daughter, and for his wife LORD. Remind him of the vows that he made before you the day of his wedding, and press deeply on his conscience what that means. I pray that he will change his mind and seek to change and solve the problems that have lead him to this rather than trying to get out of the situation.

Lord,

We pray for this, as in all things, in your name.

Lord I pray for this woman. Father I bind the demons satan has sent to attack her husband. Lord You are mightier than anyone and anything in all the universe. Father I ask you to touch this man's heart. Lord open his eyes to see the right thing. Lord soften his heart to see the love his family has for him, and to knock down the walls around his heart so he feels the love within him for his family. Lord send your love, your comfort, and your guidance to this family. Father be with this child, give her comfort.

Satan wants very much to destroy families, strife and discord in a marriage is something that helps him achieve his goals, ultimate rejection of God.

Father i pray for my sister and her husband. Father i pray that your will be done in their marriage. Father i pray in the name of JESUS that satan flee their marriage and have no power in thier relationship. Father i pray in the name of JESUS that the husband will draw closer to you and seek your guidance and your will. Father i pray for this whole family during this time, please give them your peace and your love. Father we are nothing without you. Father i thank you for all your blessings and the fact that we can lean on you. Father i glorify you in all things. In JESUS name. AMEN.

Dear Lord, I pray for CDiv4 for her marriage, that the husband would return to you and seek to reconcile his marriage. I pray that the stress the family is under be reduced and that DH's heart be softened. I pray for peace for the famly, that your will for them would happen.
